I get it.
I have to say, Nicky, for the first time since you’re death… I get it. I get you. It was the pressure you were going through. The hate you felt existed between some of the people you loved the most. The pain you were going through. If what you were feeling was even 1/10 of how I feel right now…I get it.
Not that I even think of what you did as an option for me… but still. I miss you.

Death.
Death has struck again in my family. My older cousin, Jamie (38), was taken on Saturday. He was in a scuba diving accident - not sure on the details just yet.
Jamie’s death comes just ten days before the anniversary of Nick’s. And while both circumstances are very different, my family has yet again been hit hard.
Though, we are stronger this time. While death is never a pleasant or fun thing to deal with, we are standing strong for everyone who needs us - like Jamie’s mom (My aunt val) and his wife and kids.
RIP Jamie, this still isn’t real to me. And I’m not sure how I’ll react when it is. But I miss you everyday and I wish you were here.
